Gymkhana Sports is THE oldest sports company in Pakistan. Our heritage dates back to the times before partition.

It officially started on a sunny day in the spring of 78. A cousin/cricketer from Karachi persuaded us to start a cricket equipment company. All the equipment was made and distributed across Pakistan but there was no brand and that started the GYMKHANA journey, which is almost reaching its half century.

This new company changed the cricket equipment scene of Pakistan. For the first time, international Pakistani cricket players had their own “Made in Pakistan” equipment. They no longer had to buy and ask for equipment from England, Australia or India.

Gymkhana was an instant hit and at a given point of time, 9 Pakistan players were using Gymkhana equipment in test matches. The first top of the range, expensive range  was Z-Power cricket equipment range, which was developed with collaboration with ‘Zaheer Abbas”, hence the Z-Power. The cricket bat was priced at Rs 1000/- in the early 80s and this bat broke all sales records.

Gymkhana expanded and many international players were sponsored. Players from Australia, Newzealand, West Indies and Pakistan graced Gymkhana with their strokes and hooks and ducks.

By Mid-nineties, Gymkhana Sports shifted the focus on Exports and United Kingdom became our main market. Gymkhana Sports is one of the main cricket ball suppliers for the British Market. Our cricket ball has the kite mark.

By 2007, we further expanded into apparel business. T-Shirts and sublimated garments became our main export items.

In 2019, the company decided to increase its local Pakistani market presence once again. The first project was to be T-Shirts and then Cricket, but the project was delayed due to Corona.

2022 saw the start of Pakistan based online store opening of GYMKHANA. Be a part of Gymkhana Sports and relish the heritage and flavour of “Classic meeting the Future”.
